The main function of the vest is to protect the wearer from various injuries. It offers protection against hyperflexion, hyperextension, and protects the back, chest, and sides. The front closure is done with a zipper.

Additionally, the vest is equipped with a Level 1 back protector made of D30, which provides extra protection. D30 is a special material that is flexible during normal movement but hardens upon impact to absorb the shock and distribute the energy.

The back protector can be removed independently from the vests if desired. To do this, the zipper in the center inside the vest must be opened.

This airbag vest is particularly suitable for riders participating in competitions where additional safety and protection are required. It offers a combination of comfort and functionality, allowing the rider to move freely while still being protected from potential injuries. Of course, the airbag can also be worn under the show jacket. However, the jacket must have a concealed zipper and a minimum elastane content of 15% in the fabric. Most show jackets already specify this feature separately.

The airbag deploys within 80ms.
